The .uk zone file is only reloaded once every 24hours, at about 5am GMT

So no modifications can be made to a new registration until the zone file is
reloaded...

This seems to happen in the early days that a domain is registered; it seems that there is a delay from when the domain is registered at Nominet and when it actually will allow modifications (this is a .uk domain, yes?)

Reply off list with further details (the domain) and we can verify all of this.

Thanks,

Ken
